If you like the benefits of a roller garage door and also require a draught proof insulated door, then an insulated roller door may be the choice for you. Taking the concept of the roller garage door to a new level, the luxury Thermaglide range is made of corrosion resistant, foam filled, aluminium roll formed laths.

The Thermaglide is fully automated and even has a built-in alarm as standard! It is designed with security in mind and to give thermal and acoustic insulating properties much higher than the average garage door. The door is smoother and quieter in operation than virtually any other garage door. Prices start from £1200 inc VAT and fitting.

The Thermaglide is usually installed behind the opening thus maximising the drive-through width and height of your garage but it can also be fitted between the opening. Because it rolls 'tighter' than a standard roller door, the Thermaglide takes up less headroom inside the garage.

The Thermaglide is available in a choice of 13 low-maintenance colours. The smooth powder coated aluminium surface, with its fine styling lines, gives theThermaglide a stylish, maintenance free finish. It looks as good on the inside as the outside!

Insulating performance
Thermaglide is a "double skin" door with a foam filling in the door curtain. The runners at each side of the door have brush strips on the inside. The door curtain rolls tightly within these runners which helps to eliminate draft. The door unrolls completely when it is closed, the laths interlock together and the top lath pushes against the head of the garage to minimise any draft at the top of the door. A high performance weatherseal helps provide good insulation at the garage floor.

Remote controlled convenience
All of our insulated roller doors come pre-fitted with remote-controlled operation for extra convenience, security and safety. The tubular motor that activates a Thermaglide door is engineered to the highest standard and has been tested to operate faultlessly time and time again. There's a manual operating handle for use in case of emergency exterior power failure.

Security
In addition to its insulating properties, the Thermaglide is a very secure door. The door is fully automated as standard. Once you close the door using the transmitter it will automatically lock and cannot be opened until the opener receives a coded signal from your remote control transmitter. The automatic motor securely closes the door by interlocking each lath to create an effective barrier. The smooth surface makes it extremely difficult to force entry and there is not even a lock to pick or force which will deter thieves! The fully encased side runners hold the door and a unique anti-backdrive device increases security further.

For the ultimate in security, a built-in alarm is supplied as standard. If someone forces the Thermaglide from underneath, an alarm will sound inside the garage which is sure to surprise and deter any would-be thief!

	Weatherproof Fully enclosed side runners and bottom weatherstrip ensure virtually draught free joints.			*Safer operation* The door is supplied with a "safety edge" as standard which reverses the door if it makes contact with an obstruction. Infra-red 'magic eye' to halt closing operation if the sensors are obstructed are available as an option.
	*Greater Headroom* Thermaglide occupies only 270mm (300mm for doors over 3.6m - 12ft wide) when rolled to give greater headroom and potentially increase drive-through space.			*Courtesy light* Bulkhead light, with automatic operation, may be fitted inside or outside the garage.
	*Security* A built-in alarm system, enclosed side runners, rigid curtain (when closed), no exterior locking and unique anti-backdrive bracket make forced entry very difficult.			*Excellent drive through access* Side runners fix directly to brickwork - no bulky timber frames required, maximising the possible drive-through width.

In case of power failure, due to the high security features of the Thermaglide door, it is recommended that the exterior release kit is specified for use in garages where there is no other means of entry.

The smooth powder coated low maintenance finish is available in a choice of 13 stylish colours:

Coloured finish - bright white, buttermilk, mocca brown, blue, racing green, burgundy, black and teak.
Woodgrain finish - woodgrain golden oak, woodgrain dark oak, woodgrain mahogany, woodgrain dark blue and woodgrain dark green.

Please note that due to manufacturing processes the colour of the bottom lath may vary slightly from the rest of the door.
