Choice of garage door frame

Up-and-over doors must be fitted to a frame and installed within or behind the brickwork.

When you invest in a replacement up-and-over door, we normally recommend you renew any existing garage door frame. If the frame is in bad condition, rotten or detaching from the brickwork you will not receive the full benefits from your new door, and safety may also be compromised.

Cardale steel frames are available in either a Primed finish (which you will need to paint), a low maintenance white Plastisol finish or a low maintenance Van Dyke brown Plastisol finish.
Please note that Cardale do not make a black or mahogany Plastisol  finished frame.  We normally supply Weatherblack and Weatherwood doors with a pressure treated wooden frame that you can stain after installation to match your new garage door.
